Learn at MUMC
We value learning, demonstrated by our scholarship program, the development and continued support of the preschool on our campus, the high number of educators in our congregation, and the variety of classes and other learning opportunities we offer. If you would like a place to learn about God, the Bible, yourself, or a variety of other topics, we might be the place for you. Below you can find a description of our ongoing and seasonal learning opportunities.

Children & Youth Sunday School
At 9:00 every Sunday morning, we have several Sunday School classes for children and youth. In the Summer, kids and adults can meet outside for Sun Day School, which often features a guest speaker to teach something new and awesome. During the rest of the year, we have classes for Pre-K and Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and Youth. Our greeters can point you to the right classroom for your kids on Sunday mornings.

MUMC Library
Our library is open whenever the church building is open. Run with care by retired librarians (and their friends), the Library is a great resource for Bible studies, reference, and general reading. It now features an online catalog for your convenience. We regularly feature book reviews in our print newsletter on new books donated to the library. Stop in some time and check out the books - and check out a book! There is usually a librarian in the library on Wednesday mornings if you need any assistance.

Women's Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study is a long-standing and dedicated learning group of MUMC that welcomes new members across generations. They meet on Tuesdays at 11:30 AM in the Della Burford room.
Bible Studies
We offer a wide range of Bible studies throughout the year to create lots of new opportunities for different groups of students of the Bible to gather. Classes are taught by our pastors and lay people. We have several available in our Digital Discipleship Library for those who want to take them on their own schedule.. The best way to keep track of what is coming is to subscribe to our print newsletter, where all Bible studies are introduced along with their schedule. You can also contact us to find out when the next one will begin.
Weaver's Guild
The Weaver's Guild is a group of men and women who meet irregularly to work on weaving projects, particularly our Marshfield Made project that utilizes local sheep and llama fiber and other locally dyed yarns to make home goods. It's always quite a day when the weavers are in the building sharing excitement over projects, tips, and equipment. Once a year, the group will meet weekly for a month to train new weavers. There are looms to borrow and plenty of yarn and fellowship.
