Things just don’t happen at MUMC; it takes a lot of people and time to make our church jive on a day-to-day basis. The Church Council serves as an executive board, making important decision for the church. It also serves as a means to the vision of our church. Council is made up of some staff leaders, committee chairs and at-large members, and all meetings are opened to everyone. Please feel free to contact any Council member. After all, MUMC isn’t about Church Council; it’s about Marshfield United Methodist Church; it’s about you.

If you would like to participate in directing the ministry of the church, there are at-large members positions open. Anyone interested in being on the Church Council will be included. The Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.

The various committees have a mailbox in the church office. Monthly the treasurer puts out financial reports and distributes them in the mailboxes. Other important information is also put in the mailboxes. Please check your committee box periodically to be aware of needed information.

We use the Book of Disciplines to guide our committees in how we work. The latest edition of the Book of Disciplines 2012 is available here:
